Freeport Zone

The K5 Freeport & Oil Centre has been approved and certified as a Free Zone Port

The Freeport status combined with our highly skilled work force guarantee :

• time optimisation and ease of cargo movement – safe and fast turn-around times of vessels and cargo

As a result, K5 is able to offer its customers favourable free zone conditions with regard to :

• No duties applicable for materials and goods stored and entering the zone in transit for countries outside of Equatorial Guinea;

For cargo that has to leave the zone the Customs and Immigration Department maintains an office within K5 to ensure expedited clearance.
